Dragons can live for a very long time. Some can even live as old as 250,000 years! A dragon is born when the mother lays a egg and the egg hatches a wyrmling. Newborn dragons come in different sizes so a baby dragon can be quite small. The first thing a youngling dragon learns is how to breathe fire or other elements. After, it learns how to fly. At first it doesn't do these things very well but soon its skills will grow and learn to fight and fly intelligently.
