Buildings
Buildings can be bought in the store for varying amounts of money. They tend to be on the more expensive side of things you can buy.
The most useful of buildings(in my opinion) is the food farm. You choose the amount of food you want (5 - 50,000) and wait (30sec - 2days.) The more food you try to grow the longer it takes.
Another of my favorite Buildings is the stadium. The stadium costs 25000 gold and allows you to battle in a tournament every 11 hours even if you are out of combats (see VS). Different tournaments have different difficulty, dragons and awards. Most tournaments award 1-2 gems, and 1-30 thousand gold.
The most common building is a habitat. Dragons must be placed in a habitat of their type.(with the exception of the kindergarten and dragonarium). Each habitat can hold 2 dragons with the exception of the sea habitat which holds 1. Habitats can be upgraded to hold more dragons.
The Kindergarten is a handy building used to contain baby dragons. Sometimes when you hatch a dragon you don’t have a place to put it at the moment. You can put dragons in the kindergarten well you get the money to buy a habitat. Dragons cannot level up in the kindergarten. The kindergarten can hold 5 dragons at a time.
The Deus Vault is a building where you can research dragons. If there is a dragon you want, don’t know how to breed it and you don’t have the money to pay for it, the Deus Vault is the answer. In the Deus Vault you research dragons to get secret breeding formulas not shown anywhere else.
The dragon market is a building I like to use 4 hours before I go to bed. I normally sleep about 9 hours and the Dragon market takes 11. When I wake up I have either 50-130 more food or 1000-13,000 more gold. The Market may take a long time to work but it is really worth it!
The Recruitment tavern is a place where you can recruit your Facebook friends to help you make resources.
Crystals are odd buildings that increase the income rate of any habitat with the same type 21 places away by 20%.
The Breeding Mountain is a place where you breed your dragons. The Ultra Breeding Tree can be added on to the breeding mountain to breed 2 dragons at a time. After an amount of time the parents have an egg (for what types of egg see Breeding). The egg can be picked up and placed in the Hatchery. There the egg takes the same amount of time to hatch. When the egg hatches the baby dragon stays in the hatchery until you put it in a habitat of the same type.
TThe dragonarium is similar to the kindergarten but can hold dragons of any level. The dragonarium holds 2 of the elemental type dragons, 2 metals, 2 dark, 1 pure and 1 legendary. Additional slots cost 2-5 gems.
The last type of building is the Training center. Here dragons of level 15 or higher can learn better moves for combat (see VS). Training takes 6-48 hours.
