Runners

Runners are the first stage of the infecetd host. You can tell a Runner from other zombies by their almost demonic yellow-orange eyes. These Infected are nearly blind and in a state of confusion until somone wlks by. They will visciously chase you until you are dead or they are. Runners quickly form groups to hunt you down. You can kill a runner many ways. You could kill them stealthily by sneaking up on them and strangling them or by using a shiv to quickly silence the unfortunate host that lays in your way. Then there are the ways to kill a Runner that will attract all of the other Infected in the area. To do this you can just pull out any gun, point, and shoot to your hearts content, or until you run out of amo. You could also use hand to hand combat or use a mele weapon.
