Minecraft is a game entirely made of blocks. It was made by someone who goes by the name of Notch (his real name is Marcus Persson). Notch eventually sells Minecraft to a guy named Jeb for a lot of money. Jeb is the one who added all the wacky stuff. Horses were thought about by Notch but never meant to be added by him. Jeb added horses in the 1.6 update. Jeb also made wacky mobs like the witch, the bat, the wither, and the wither skeleton. Jeb also is the one who made the new 1.6 launcher. Minecraft is $26.95 once.
