Displaying

There are two main ways to display vector graphics. One way is using pixels, like most computers. This is called raster graphics. This is the Atari game Tempest played with raster graphics:

The second way is more complicated and uses beams of electrons across phosphors to make glowing lines. This is called a vector monitor and is a type of CRT. Atari used this under the name Quadra-Scan for some of their games. This is Tempest, but this time on a vector monitor:
