In chapter 1, Harry is introduced, along with the Dursleys. Harry is dropped at the doorstep by 3 people; Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Hagrid. McGonagall is magically a cat who transforms into a human, and Hagrid enters the scene with 1-year-old Harry on a flying Motorcycle. They drop Harry on the Dursley's doorstep, because Harry's aunt and uncle are his only family left.
In chapter 2, flash forward 10 years. Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia have not changed their house, aside from pictures of Dudley getting older. Harry sleeps in the cupboard under the stairs. Harry basically becomes the Dursley's slave, and never gets anything he needs aside from food and water. Harry gets to go to the zoo, on Dudley's 11th birthday. Dudley enters the reptile house, immediately bored with the dead looking snakes. Dudley goes to move on. Harry stays with the snake, and is suddenly hearing the snake talk. He begins to talk to the snake, and the snake begins to move. Dudley rushes over, banging on the glass. Suddenly the glass disappears, and Dudley falls in, the snake escapes, the glass seals up, and chaos. Once they return home, Harry becomes blamed for the glass disappearing.
Chapter 3: Since Harry gets the mail every morning, he looks through the mail and sees a letter for him. As soon as Uncle Vernon sees it, he grabs it and shreds it, and then burns it. He gets more and more every day, until they come bursting through the mail slot and the chimney. Every single one addressed in the same handwriting:

The Cupboard Under the Stairs
4 Privet Dr.
Little Whining
Surrey.
From this: Uncle Vernon gets mad and is screaming to get into the car. they travel for miles, and finally rest in a shabby hotel, then renting a boat, going to a cabin on an island. It's Harry's Birthday the next day, and he hears something right on midnight. Something wanted in...
It knocks down the door, and it’s a huge man. he walks in and sits down. Hagrid told Harry everything, including that his parents were not killed in a car crash, as he previously believed, and also that is how he got his lighting shaped scar, but that Lord Voldemort, and evil wizard, killed them and tried to kill harry, but just gave him a scar quite casually. He gave Harry the letter , and he was going to Hogwarts next thing.
Harry goes to Diagon Ally, where he gets his wand, and money. He also gets his owl, Headwig, as a birthday present from Hagrid. He also gets a lot of money, left for him by his parents who were also wizards. He discovered he was quite famous in the wizard world. He didn't know why, though.
Harry Boards the Hogwarts express with confusion. The only way he figured it out was that He heard another family talking and said some wizarding word Hagrid had said. He took his cart and ran at the post and he was on his way.
The family who showed him how to get to platform 9 3/4 had a boy who was a first year too, named Ron. They quickly became friends, and the sorting hat sorted them into the same house, out of Gryffindor, which they got into, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Before Christmas Break, they've already broken many rules trying to protect a fellow student, Hermione Granger, from a troll. The three quickly become friends. Between homework and quidditch, Harry, Ron, and Hermione manage to find a giant three-headed dog. They find that a very valuable stone called the Sorcerer stone is hidden in the school, and are determined to save the stone.
They sneak through a maze of challenges to get to the stone before the thief, and the maze consisted of giant wizard chess and a plant that can and will kill you. By the time they get to the last room Hermione convinced harry to go without her, because she had to stay with Ron, because ---------, so he does.
Harry is amazed to see that professor -------------- was down there and turned out to also be ------------ and Dumbledore, the headmaster, saves them all, just in time. The Sorcerer stone is ----------. To be continued next year at Hogwarts.
