Dad
My dad rocks! He is the best cook! I always love his meals! Dad is a great guitarist too! My dad always has gigs and he plays guitar while my mom sings with him. Sometimes they invite me up to sing with them! He always makes me smile with his smile when I am sad. He is very funny and helps me with piano when mom is not their. My dad also helps or sometimes does clean my turtle tank. I totally thank him for that!! My dad helps me with my homework after school if I don't get it. When he wakes me up when I sleep late on school days he gently taps me and says, "Julia. Julia. Wake up." In a calm soothing voice.
One day I slept in late again and he was lightly tapping me but for some reason I was still asleep and I was tapping and petting dad's head because I thought he was my dog Rocky trying to get up on the bed. But when I woke up, I saw dad! Dad is always there for me. Dad was always there when I did something exciting or new! I love resting with him and teaching him new things that I learn at school. He always listens to my stories and helps me with any problems I have. He lets me have play dates and sleepovers and doesn't get very mad when we stay up late and talk. I love my dad!
