The first version of minecraft was Minecraft classic, it was the first version of minecraft. After that they then created Minecraft Alpha, it was an new and improved version. third they made Minecraft Beta, whic was another new updated version with more changes and add-ons. fourth they made Minecraft 1.1, witch was an updated version with some bugs/glitches fixed. From there they just went 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, so-on and so-forth until the latest update 1.6, the horse update.
